STEP UP LINE – balanced climbing shoes
Tenaya ARAI climbing shoes belong to the Step Up Line series. They are specially designed for easier and more intuitive foot placement on any surface. They are exceptionally comfortable and allow you to improve your footwork. Due to their properties, they mostly sit on vertical or slightly overhanging roads, whether on rocks or artificial walls.
- Stiffness (hardness) 3.5/5 – medium hardness/ hard. The higher the number, the more difficult the climb. For harder climbers, the steps can be loaded with more force.
- Sensitivity 3.5/5 – moderately sensitive/sensitive. The higher the number, and thus the sensitivity, the more information you can learn about the step you are standing on.
- FWR (foot width) 5/5 - value FWR expresses how well a climber can adapt to the width of the foot. In general, with higher FWR values, the climbing shoe fits the wider foot better.
