The biggest difference is that the design of the MASAI model has been optimized for maximum efficiency when climbing micro-stairs. Thanks to the lacing, the climbers can be adapted to almost any bulky foot. They fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable to climb in. BALANCE PRO LINE – balanced climbing shoes

The Tenaya MASAI climbing shoes belong to the BALANCE PRO LINE series. As the name suggests, these are powerful climbers in all directions and can easily reach maximum performance on different types of rock or artificial walls. Due to their properties, they will be best suited for long, slightly overhanging routes that combine the problems of rocks, bumps and technical climbing on small steps.

  • Stiffness (hardness) 3.5/5 - medium hard / hard The higher the number, the more difficult the climb. For harder climbers, the stairs can be loaded with more force.
  • Sensitivity 3.5/5 - moderately sensitive/sensitive. The higher the number, and thus the sensitivity, the more information you can learn about the step you are standing on.
  • FWR (foot width) 3/5 - the FWR value expresses how well the climbing shoe adapts to the width of the foot. In general, with higher FWR values, the climbing shoe fits wider feet better.
