The Camalot Ultralight 4 friend from Black Diamond is an improved and lighter version of the popular Camalot™ model. Its lighter weight makes it an ideal choice for expeditions, as the Ultralight weighs 25% less. The lower weight is mainly due to the use of Dyneema material, which now replaces the steel cable in the loop. The core of the body and the 14 mm loop are also made of Dyneema material. The Dyneema material consists of polyethylene fibers, which are extremely strong.
The Friend Camalot Ultralight impresses with its two-axis system, which provides greater span and easier wedging. For perfect transparency, each size is color-coded. In the attached table you will find the parameters of each size, which will make the choice easier.
