The Camalot Ultralight 3 friend from the Black Diamond brand is an improved and lighter version of the popular Camalot™ model. Due to its lower weight, it is an ideal choice for expeditions, as the weight of the Ultralight model is 25% less. The lower weight is primarily due to the Dyneema material used, which is now placed in a loop instead of a steel cable. Both the core of the body and the 14 mm loop are made of Dyneema material. The Dyneema material consists of polyethylene fibers, which stand out for their extremely high strength.
The construction of the Camalot Ultralight impresses friends with its two-axis system, which provides greater span and easier wedging. For a perfect overview, the individual sizes are color-coded.
