The Camalot Ultralight 0.4 friend from Black Diamond is an improved and lighter version of the popular Camalot™ model. Its lighter weight makes it an ideal choice for expeditions, as the Ultralight weighs 25% less. The lower weight is mainly due to the use of Dyneema, which is now used in the loop instead of steel cable. The core of the body or the 14mm loop is also made of Dyneema material. The Dyneema material consists of polyethylene fibers, which are extremely strong.
The Friend Camalot Ultralight impresses with its two-axis system, which provides greater span and easier wedging. For perfect transparency, each size is color-coded. You can find the parameters of each size in the attached table, which makes the choice easier.
